As I’ve said in yesterday’s post, today I’m going to share with you my first proposal for a better Msida. I’ve said this for a long time and I will continue working on this dream of mine until I see it fulfilled. I believe in partnership between entities. The private sector, the public sector and NGO’s alike.
Nestled on the east of the country, at the inner most part of the Marsamxett Harbour, Msida is a gem. A gem on its own merit which connects our capital city, Valletta, to the booming touristic area of Sliema. For many people in Malta, Msida is either a city from where they pass through regularly or else since it’s also home to the University, Junior College and the Mater Dei Hospital, they go to it to either study or for health reasons; yet for us who live in this beautiful city, Msida is home.
Back in 2003 I was only 16 years old. At the time we all know that Malta was going through the EU Referendum debate and it was an interesting time for our country. I remember one of the most vociferous discussions us youths used to have whenever we hang out together was about the right to vote.
